Sounds like a nice deal Stevie, a bit better than the other place.

That deal for the golf could be a decent compromise for the moment until you decide what you want to do.

As always you're more than welcome as a visitor at my place to give you a bit of variety  :)

Is it a yearly deal or a get out when you want deal?

That's a yearly deal mate get out after 9 months. Monthly is a bit dearer.

I was just meaning it's a lot to sign up to if you quit it after 3 weeks. Mine is monthly so I plan to stop it late April and start it up again late September, no point paying for it during the golf season when all my spare time I'll be out playing.

I get your point on that mate. The Gym is open from 6:30am-10:00pm monday to friday so i'll find time to go and would like to keep a regular routine.

I can upgrade to golf at any time should I think that I want to go for that. Means after golf I could go for a nice sauna or Jaccuzi.

I go roughly 10 hours a week so with travelling etc that's 2 rounds of golf a week so considering I play 3 or 4 rounds a week I'll not have time for both.

Never really thought about it that way but I only get the chance to play once or twice a week depending (not a problem at the moment as I don't have a club).

I probably wouldn't get back into it if I stopped for any time and we got a joint membership which is a fair bit cheaper. This also means that because Fiona doesn't play golf that if I added that I would get 6 baskets of balls a week.  :)

I'll see if I've made a muck of it again but you live and learn I suppose.

OK that was better  :)

Went for my induction at North Gailes today and it couldn't have been a more diferent experience. Got shown round all the equipment and had 3 or 4 machines set up for my needs. Had a 10 minute jog followed by 2 12 rep sets on the lower body machines and the same on the upper body. Then had a go on the bikes for 10 minutes at which point it was time for lunch.

All the machines have a login screen and you log all the work you do on them. The Bikes and Treadmills have TV's if that is your thing but I think I might stick to an MP3 player and some headphones.

Got my 1 hour session with the trainer to work out the best way to achieve what I want and can't wait. I'll be going back before then too and need to have a relax in the Sauna and Jacuzzi.  :thumbup1:

Golf? Still unsure but tempting for the post round Sauna I could have.

Sounds much more like what I would expect Stevie.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it - make the most of the high.

If you're anything like me, 2 days after your first session your muscles will be somewhat sore :D

Nope. Had a healthy lunch too in the restaraunt.

Trying to come up with a plan that suits both of us and seeing when we can go together.  :)

It was lunch time.  :p

Very nice panini and salad I had too.

No Bacon or Sausage in site.  :chuckle:

A panini isn't healthy! Bread is high in calories & unwanted sugars.
