Does anyone know of any R+A rules, decisions or local club rules that deal with the curse of old men taking a piss whilst out on the golf course?

I think its pretty disgusting but worse still is a friend in my society that takes a loo roll with him in his golf bag each time to deal with a no.2 he is renowned for taking most rounds.

I piss on the course. If I wasn't allowed to I wouldn't play.

I've nothing against using a bush or tree but some of the old guys I play with just whip it out in the middle of the fairway.
I keep a small pack of wet wipes in my bag but have only ever had to use them once in 30 odd years playing golf, and that was escapee brussel sprouts on boxng day a few years ago.

Unduly delaying pace of play??

Frankly I can find no reason for a player to "routinely" need to take a dump whilst out on the course. I'm sure that on very rare occaisions many of us have been caught short whilst away from public sit-down conveniences, but for it to happen on a regular basis indicates the guy needs to modify his diet somewhat.....6 pints of Guinness and a Prawn Vindaloo the night before will not help ones guts the next morning.

In all seriousness I think this is one of those aspects of golf that make it a laughing stock. The idea that you can have a pompous club populated by old farts wittering on about etiquette etc and then nobody bats an eyelid when the same old cronies go round pissing everywhere

Either you need to get every golf club to install a toilet block at every tee box or you need to ban anyone over about 50 from playing golf.
