What would you do with a banana skin in a bunker?

or any other hazard for that matter.

I'd leave it.

We had this before if I remember correctly you can't move the banana skin as its not man made and therefore classified as a loose impediment  :suicide:

If it was a crisp packet it can be moved as it a moveable obstruction  :suicide: :suicide:

Don't you just love how clear and easy to follow some of the rules are  :chuckle:

Exactly....so basically....beware of where you dispose of your banana skins, apple cores....throw them in the middle of the fairway by all means....but not in a hazard!!!

You got me confused now! A man made object is a movable obstruction and a stone is a loose impediment so a banana with skin would be a loose impediment but a banana skin isn't

No, they're both loose impediments, and so neither can be moved.  A local rule can change a stone from being a loose impediment to being a moveable obstruction, in which case you can move it.  If the local rule isn't in place then the stone is just like the banana (or banana skin) and can't be moved.

Excuse the bad taste, but dogshit in bunkers is also a loose impediment!

Moray Open 2005 and my opponent in the 2nd round had his ball resting against what can only be described as a 'monster canine offload'

I recall him seriously considering taking a drop too! He played it in the end and was most amusing!

I nearly had a run in today playing in my society a bloke walking 5 greyhounds walked past one of the dogs had a crap and the owner just left it there. One of the members pointed out to the owner the error of his  ways and he  just point blankly ignored him. Then shouted something about it being a public right of way when he was a safe distance.
