Back to reading school for you
...Too hard for you to point out what you think is the error I've made?Sniping is much easier.
So you're saying you have read the OP and can't see the mistake? It's not as if it's not referred to several times thru this thread.
Yes, several times. Can you help me?
He has his own clubs and isn't using any other competitors equipment.
In the first post it said he borrowed his playing partner's driver to "hit" the ball off the tee, hence the DQ (for both? not sure)
This was posted by some one on a non golf forum I use can any one explain this only thing I can think of was to not get banned from the next comp.My other question to the below are they both disqualified for sharing clubs? Question for fellow golfers. Was playing in a comp on Saturday, was supposed to be three of us in our group. Got to the first tee and one lad was there, then a young lad came up with his dad, said he couldn't play as he had done his wrist in, so I signed his card to say he had turned up and we had accepted he couldn't play. But then he got on the first tee asked to borrow my driver tee'd a ball up and then just knocked it off, picked it up and went on his way, neither me or the lad who I went round with knew why he did it?? Any ideas?
Sorry, I an't take it any longer!!!
Hmm, which he? I read it that the guy who said he wasn't competing because of a duff wrist took someones driver and hit one shot with it. Therefore if he's not competing it doesn't matter.
Yeah that guy, but I was postulating that if he hit a shot (albeit not with his own club), he thought he had to hit at least one so *was* competing, although inadvertently DQ'ing himself anyway (and maybe the guy drawn with him too).
...the player must not add or borrow any club selected for play by any other person playing on the course. PENALTY FOR BREACH OF RULE 4-4a or b, REGARDLESS OF NUMBER OF EXCESS CLUBS CARRIED:...
