Yonex Nanospeed 3i
« on: May 11, 2011, 11:51:56 »
Went to the WOG Sidcup to try the above against my new and improved FT-IQ (had the swing weigh checked at the weekend and it was C8, so lead tape added to get it up to D2).

The FT-IQ  felt much better and the occasional slice I'd been getting didn't appear but the Yonex was around 10-20 yards longer with no apparent  difference in dispersion (difficult to tell at times now the range has been remodelled).

I intend to go back next week and try it against the Cleveland SL270 (only one they have in stock) although in the shop there didn't seem to be a lot to choose between the Yonex and Cleveland in weight by feel.

Also took the VMS steel  iron onto the range and the graphite seems to be the better choice for me inn terms of smoothness.

Good luck keeping hold of the 270-when I tried one, I thought I was going to lose it our of my hands the stock ultra lightweight Winn grip is so bad.
