Dawg Golf Shoes - The Thin End of the Wedge - Ban Them Now

Spotted a pair of Dawg golf shoes in my clubs pro shop at the weekend.

Basically they are a pair of Crocs with golf spikes.

As far as I'm concerned casual shoes like this, dressed up to look like golf shoes, are the thin end of the wedge and represent a threat to traditional values relating to attire on the golf course.

Before you know it folks will be wearing these on course without socks and Chav values will rapidly erode current standards of attire. Cargo pants, football shirts and ripped jeans will be commonplace as the Burberry Brigade invade our clubs leaving cans of Stella littering the course and refusing to remove their headgear when in the Clubhouse.

Ban them now I say!!!!!!

Have you ever looked at youself in the mirror before you go out and play golf?

The wedge is in and the thin edge was passed a long time ago.

Well at least they're Foootjoy! They have their place (the bin, shitty courses in shitty areas of shitty, hot countries) but our golf courses are not an appropriate one.
