I wear white JL trousers all the time, nothing fancy about them, they're just white. Only to be worn with white shoes though. Saying that I've worn them with Black shoes in the odd emergency...

It's not a good look but preferable to the I've-just-signed-for-Nike/Addidas/etc look where all the clothes are from the same manufacturer as your bag and clubs and yet you struggle to play to 28.

I used to have a lovely pair of white 501s which looked stunning with a pair of purple suede shoes and a lilac satin shirt.

More for the disco in them days but I reckon the look would be equally as striking out on the course.
