Gents,
Been offered a hit round this course this weekend, any good? Always wanted to play it when I was a kid because it was on an island

I just about kill myself every time I go over the Friarton bridge trying to see the course.
Never played it, but like you always fancied it for the novelty factor.
Unsurprisingly seems to have a bit of a reputation for being a bit boggy at times (and completely submerged at others.....)

I have played it , its a bit up & down for a few holes , some pins are very blind, can be a bit boggy & would prob be like that right now with the rain we have had as its surrounded by water...
Was worth the visit although getting to the clubhouse is an adventure in its self...

Played this on Saturday and was quite an enjoyable course! Was very boggy in places, but fairways and rough in play wasn't bad at all.
Decent layout, not very difficult but enjoyed it. Greens were very good too, would like to play it when it's dry in the middle of summer!
72 with 4 lost balls wasn't too bad either!
Would certainly recommend it if you're in the area.

I should say not, that`s a 64 without the penalties.
Unless a sleeve of three just fell out of your bag on the way round

Life`s tough, then you get to play with the seniors.
