No. The table doesnt state where the numbers come from but my understanding is that it is from detailed statistical analysis over several years of the typical scores shot by players of all handicap levels.

Just ban mid / high handicappers.  Bloody parasites who shouldn't be let near a golf course until they can play 4 consecutive rounds under par.

Personally, I'd also make them clean the toilets if they persist in turning up to play in comps where they pay a membership fee and enter with a view to trying to improve their handicaps.

Given the amount of silverware that you've won with your dodgy mid/ high handicap, I'm guessing that quite a few people on here would agree with you on this one!

There should be separate bloody courses for women, let alone a separate CSS!   :sarcastic:

I'd also make them clean the toilets

Isn't that a job for Assistant Pro's ?

Just to top off my week.  Played in a home match today.  Giving a 12 handicap 7 shots.  She shot 3 over gross on the front nine (not including the 4 shots she got as well) at which point I was 5 down at the turn and I played well!   Lost 5 & 4 even though I played to handicap on my own course.  She said she didn't play too many qualifiers at her club! ???

I'm at a "hating of this game" stage. Maybe I'll take up knitting!

Wish I knew how Stu!  I was a bit busy play football in the street when my Mum was teaching my sisters how to knit!
