Awesome, maddening, frustrating, easy, hard, classic links. Great condition, stuffy clubhouse, love it, hate it.

A great course-one of the best courses I've played. Also had a rather lively night out there when I played it (was in Uni days).

Sorry to be a damp squid but somehow it didn't quite work for me. Is it truly links? some of the inland holes are 'heathish' at best and I didn't feel the excitement I usually get on a great courses. Had 36 holes and won both my matches so its not that I didn't enjoy the day, it's just I feel its an excellent course that is second tier in GB&I. That means I'd be happy to play it every day, but if I was told my last ever round would be there, I'd be a little disappointed having at least 25 other places I'd prefer
Maybe its me, but give me rough and Randy(blame the spell check!) Pennard anyday.

I agree that Pennard is a quality course, I felt beat up after playing it due to it's difficulty, but it's condition let it down massively.
I have photos of Pennard also so will try and do a similar review of it when I get some spare time.
