On the North East Coast.

The course is set overlooking the industrial heart of ICI (I think). The views leave something to be desired with large industrial buildings all around.
Clubhouse and pro shop are very friendly and very old. Changing rooms could do with a makeover!

Course has 22 holes and the day we played the course was 7373 yards off the whites and 7015 off the yellows. Put it together with a 40 mph wind and this is a very stern test of anyones golf! We played 4 par 5s, 13 par 4s and 1 par 3. Great course with fantastic greens. Very open on typical links land although it is quite flat. Tough because of the length and the weather.

Play it on a Monday using 2Fore1 - £17.50 and you won't be disappointed.
