« on: Feb 02, 2012, 15:57:49 »
Just checked the bag from the other day and have left one of my mitts at the range  :banghead:  :picard:

Whats good out there, the callaways I had were quite a few years old.

Go for the Titleist ones, they're warm and most importantly they are also waterproof.

The cheaper pair I had before were fine in the dry, but made things worse if it was cold and wet.

Actually, these are the ones that I have and are cheaper due to being last year's model:

They're also magnetic at the wrists which makes it much harder to lose one of them!  I'm not sure that the 2012 model have that feature.

If you have a Costco near you they are selling Head Snowboarding mitts for £11 and they are extremely warm and water proof.

I've had mines on the course and the slopes.

Much better than any of the Golf mitts I've owned in the past (Callaway & FJ)

What size you wanting? I wear M/L golf gloves but I bought XL mitts so I could get them on and off easily. They have single hand closure

I'll be in Costco's at the weekend most likely.

Does that not suit a head better than your hands ?  :sarcastic:

Are any of these fingerless inside the mitt ?

The callaways ones had fingers in the LH mitt, which was a pain as I had to take off the golf glove to put it on.
Would prefer fingerless ones both hand so I can get the Zippo handwarmer in

That's another reason why I bought the XL mitts so I could get my hands in even with my glove still on. I've not actually used my Zippo hand warmer this winter due to these mitts being so good.

The 2nd Titleist ones that I linked to have sections, but they aren't tight fitting so I wouldn't call them fingers.  I've never had to take my golf glove off to use them, and have also used them with my Zippo hand warmer inside the right glove without any problems.
