And now we move a little further afield to the lovely island of Oahu, Hawaii.
Coral Creek is on the west side of the island just up the road from Pearl Harbour. Very, very nice clubhouse and a substantial pro-shop.
Course is 6808 off the Coral tees and 6347 off the dailies.
As you would imagine from an American course the aesthetics are fantastic, buggies are compulsory but as you can take them anywhere does not cause an inconvenience. Water is plenty evident on 14 of the holes. Palm trees surround the fairways and the rough is not very penal. Tees, fairways and greens are in great condition. Best hole for me would have to be the par 3, 11th. Firing over a reservoir to an almost island green - no water on the left - there is a waterfall behind the green! Par 5, 11th is a tough hole, 594 off the dailies and 636 off the back! Great variation of holes and I will play it again when I go back even though there are probably better courses about.
