Ok, this post might be a wee bit redundant, considering TM are on the verge of releasing a new range of balls, but I got bought a dozen TP Blacks and TP Reds for Xmas, and I took the opportunity to try out the Reds today over 10 holes. Not a big test for the balls, I'll give them another few tries on the next few weeks, but first impressions are very good, I really do like this ball. I'd previously tried the TP Blacks, and found them the longest ball I'd ever hit. Well, these are a kick in the arse off them. Seem to hold their line really well in the wind, come off the driver like a rocket, and stop pretty quick in the greens. Our greens are fairly soft, but one of the holes is better than the rest, as its elevated and only used during the winter, so its harder than the others. The Red really sat down pretty good on this green, and on short chips seemed to check up pretty good. Felt nice off the putter as well. These balls get a definite from me, and at £23 a dozen in our pro shop, I'll be buying more before he sells out. Will be interesting to try the new balls when they come out. A definite 10/10 from me, especially at that price.
I now how far to the Blacks go, I tried the NikeOnes Prov1s, and i really think these are much better! go a mile an dgot an amazing trajectory!
If you think those are long you should try the new ones, and the Burner TP's
Yep, the Burner's are great!
Won some of these at Cardrona meet - what should I expect?
Burner TP's feel quite soft IMO
If its the Burner TP, expect to be about 15-20 yards longer with the driver
I think you are on the wrong SquadGolf Softer than the reds (2007)?

A long wait to be invited back to a Scottish outing ... >:(
