Don't forget that Ian is comparing the MP-Ts with a club that costs twice as much, so it wouldn't be surprising if there was some performance difference!

The MP-Ts seem to divide popular opinion, with many people really liking them (including myself) and many people not getting on with them at all.  They definitely aren't the 'spinniest' wedges around (possibly due to the fact that they're quite light?), so if that's what you're looking for then you may want to try other options.  I do however find that they provide good feel and feedback, are very consistant and sit nicely behind the ball.  Basically they do the job for me.

I'd try a few options out and see what suits you best as, like putters, wedges seem to be a very personal choice.

Muiras ain't doing the job for me at the moment - but inclined to think that could be 'operator error'.

There's certainly a law of diminishing returns on cost of clubs. I actually found the SMTs had pretty similar feel. Not sure about durability though - as 2 have now been sold.

Wedges are definitely personal preference - and so should be fitted! (Note to self!) - but are a relatively cheap way to appease the ho-ing urge too.
