No, still doesn't really work, otherwise I wouldn't have SatNav or t'internet, would I?  Besides I thought that was reserved for golf club committee members?

Oh yeah ... that would include me, so maybe ...

I don't like it in golf    so the worst I can be accused of is being against the application of that technology in that field.

That doesn't fit the definition of Ludditism, so I'm challenging you all to find a better insult.  This one's not fit for purpose.

Your premise that you are not a Luddite because you object to GPS in golf because it reduces the need for skill has no merit.  There is no argument you can put together that will hold weight.  The only logical conclusion is that you object on other baseless grounds such as emotion, or fear.  I'll go with fear and call you a Luddite, just because it pisses you off

Longshot is quite correct to characterise the group who oppose GPS as Luddites.  It's a generalisation as flawed as any.  What's the big deal?

Play my own game.  Without GPS.

Nah TP, it doesn't piss me off, since it's an opinion and therefore needs have no merit or weight of argument to support it.  I'm right and I know I am.
