Footjoy DryJoy Pros - Discussion thread
« on: Dec 10, 2007, 11:13:17 »
I'm giving them the full 5 thumbs up treatment (for want of a better scoring system)

 :thumbup1: :thumbup1: :thumbup1: :thumbup1: :thumbup1:

These aren't brand new shoes - I bought them about 18 months ago. Wore them on Saturday - raining heavily and casual (and formal) water everywhere. Not a drop of it made it into my shoes - excellent.

Also, they were comfortable for 18 holes the very first time I wore them.

Highly recommended - they do exactly what it says on the box.

Totally agree -

But the box is still not tall enough for me to stand on (So I dont have to use cut down clubs)  or waterproof for those wet days

Golf - It's a stupid game - and I would give up if I was not married

I've got a couple of pairs and these never stayed 100% dry after a few trips out in the lovely Scottish weather.

I then bought 3 pairs of Adidas Tour 360's at the beginning of the year and they where the worst 'premium' golf shoes I've had, very comfortable but didn't keep the water out at all. I've already returned a pair to the shop and I've got the other 2 pairs boxed up ready for returning to Online Golf.

On a positive note I picked up a couple of pairs of brand new Footjoy Classic Dry Premier cheap £109 & £90 and had a pair on on Saturday when if was pissing down and my socks where bone dry, so I'll be sticking to these....not the cheapest but there are great deals out there if you look.
The Bag is changing again...
Round & round it goes, where it stops nobody knows

I find the PROs uncomfortable and the 360s stay dry all the time

I will be interested to hear what people think. My replacement pair of 360s are already splitting. Just don't seem to have enough support on the inside of the feet so will have to look elsewhere and like the look of these.

I had my first proper look at these at week at the driving range and really liked them but at £90 I'd probably pick up another pair of classics off Ebay for around £100.

£75 quid if you are a member. Which if I remember correctly just involves signing up to the website.

Yes thats correct ANdrew, I phoned them direct at Esher and asked them if I could have the same deal as the online members price of £74.99 and I said I'd pay ££ in store - He basically snapped my hand off. Looks like a detour on the way home tomorrow then

I used to have a couple of pairs and they were good and comfy.

Moved to the Reelfits and they are better still.

Yeah but, no but, yeah but - They'd be about £40 more expensive then  just for the sake of not having laces  ;)
