Mixed Matchplay Rules

I was just looking at the card for Frilford Heath (where LGL and I will be playing our MSG Matchplay tie) and it threw up a few interesting questions.  I think I now know the answers to them, but I wonder if most people would.

I've attached a scorecard from one of the courses at Frilford Heath.  Assuming that we play that course:

Question 1
I play off a HC of 7 and LGL plays off a HC of 6, she plays from the red tees and I play from the yellow tees:  Who receives shots and how many?

Question 2
On what hole(s) are/is the above shot(s) taken?

Question 3
On the 14th hole, both LGL and I score 4s.  What is the result of the hole?

Just save the £15 and accept that LGL kicked your ass.

Although, I understand that 'generally accepted' rules are that in a mixed format you should play to the mens card with the lady teeing off from the red's.

Oops, meant to say based on SSS of yellows and reds, so the two shots your SSS gets you is depleted by the one difference in your handicaps.  I have no idea, but it seemed logical! :lol:

From my experiences of getting gubbed by my girlfriend.
1) LGL gets 1 shot from you as she gains 2 shots for the differences in SSS.
2)LGL get her shot at her SI 1
3)Number of shots stands irrespective of par.

In hindsight, I decided to dig out my R & A rulebook.

I could not see that the mixed matchplay format was covered - have I just missed it?

If not then the tournament organiser would have to advise you of the rules to be used for the competition.
