I don't think I'll ever be able to do it. I can only just touch the floor in a normal toe touching stretch. Tight hamstrings that wont stretch.

Problem is that it might not be tight hamstrings that won't allow you to touch the floor. Could be weak core or even tight hip flexors!

The two parts of the posterior chain I suffer with is hamstrings and calves, the rest is pretty good. Hip flexors are tight too but aren't a limiting factor in that particular stretch.

Got physio on Monday will see if they've got anything new to add that doesn't involve needles.

After doing pilates for three months including some private lessons, they look pretty simple to me.

Anyone can improve by just stretching 3 or 4 times a week. Like everything, it's finding the time.
