Okay after falling out with my beloved Indio I went into the pro-shop to see what they had on special.Nike 460 Sumo - no not the square one - was about to go on e-bay.Not a big fan of Nike, maybe its irrational but have never rated their clubs but I thought what the hey.Initial thoughts club has a massive, and I mean melon on a stick massive. Liked the look of the yellow and black Diamana shaft which felt good using the waggle test. Headcover is right up my street! Not really tried to knock the skin off the ball with it yet but just concentrated on a nice smooth swing. Ball flies off the face and feels very solid. Great trajectory and average amount of roll.It is not going to win any long drives but if it keeps me on the fairway then I am happy. This club seems to know nothing except straight/draw. Would I have bought one at full price - possibly not as it is not one of the ones I would have tried. Would I recommend one now - absolutely. I can see this being in the bag for some time. In the words of The Messiah "I love it, I just love it".To cap it all off I got it for a great price and as I was walking out of the shop was given 2 sleeves of ProV1x as a thank you!
Did you get it for the price we discussed Rob??
