As it is going to piss down at the weekend and be hot I thought about how horrible those conditions are to play in. Have you ever worn short sleeved waterproofs? Are they worth while?

I appreciate my answer didn't really answer the question so here goes...

Unless the rain is biblical, I prefer to play in a short sleeved waterproof, especially in the warmer months.

Last couple of years I've been playing more open comps so will play no matter what the weather.

Finding short sleeved shower proof & a brolly is actually pretty good for most weather. Key thing is remembering to take a change of clothes.

I've had one of the addidas jackets which has sleeves removable at both the elbow and the shoulder, and I have never bothered taking them off for either. Its a great idea in theory but in practice I can't be doing faffing around with the zips during the middle of a round.

Well the one I found out was waterproof got used today and was perfect. Only thing I could have done better was wear shorts under my waterproofs.
