I've not tried them but spotted 3 in my pro's bag. He said the 56 and 60 aren't to different to the SM5 but the 52 is now his fab club in the bag.

They are lovely.... had a hit at my local range a couple of weeks ago.... not sure they are hugely different in feel from the SM5's but I did like the styling.

Not wanting to thread jack but how do the MD3 weges stack up against the vokeys.

OK....purely subjective here..... the Vokeys feel a bit softer.... you know... that feel you only (allegedly) get with forged clubs.

In terms of spin....I don't see a huge amount of difference.... but I do like the fact that the MD3's have the wide W grind in lower lofts... been really useful through out the winter months.... when the course firms up I'll dig out the narrower soled Vokey 54 (SM5). The lime green grips (Lamkin UTX ?) on the MD3's were bloody awful.... nasty and harsh.... have been replaced with Tour Velvets.

I guess its horses for courses.... quite happy with the MD3's and wouldn't splash out on the SM6's....if you are looking for a new set then try them both and see what suits.

Any more thoughts on these........looking to upgrade the wedges but really.......£120 each! Are these worth the extra monies over the SM5 or say these Mizunos -

http://www.onlinegolf.co.uk/clubs/wedges/mizuno-golf-mp-t5-black-nickel-wedge-273972.html

Can get 2 of these for the price of a single SM6...........plus these are forged whereas the SM6's are still cast I believe.......
