Callaway Chessington
« on: Mar 07, 2018, 10:53:04 »
I know we have some old threads re Callaways Fitting Centre at Chessington but has anyone paid it a visit in the last year or so for a fitting?

Am considering looking at revamping my transition from irons to fairway woods and am considering dropping the 5i in favour of a hybrid, and finding either a stronger hybrid or proper 5 wood to replace the Ping 3-wood that I've currently got "up-lofted".

Also want to see if a modern 3 wood or strong 3 wood (i.e. Rogue) performs better than my Rapture strong 3 wood.

I prefer to see ball flight into open air backed up by numbers rather than hitting into a screen which is what you appear to get at Chessington. The upside is that Chessington is Free and they'll have more options than my local Callaway fitter and (hopefully) better knowledge.

Was looking to see if anyone had recent fitting experience there.

Callaway place is on an industrial estate so I doubt you'd see full ball flight.  It's also on the same estate as GolfBidder for you to flip all your old gear.

So it would be realistic to my ball flight/direction on course then!!!  :D
