Healthy Food Recommendations
« on: Nov 24, 2007, 13:50:02 »
Asda Good For You Sweet & Sour Stir Fry Sauce (with crushed pineapple)

Costs 68p - 236 cals (so not brilliant)

It comes in a small pouch (like those you get soup in).

Quick, easy, health(ish) and very very tasty.

Came home last night pretty tired. So just chopped up some onions and peppers and put in with sliced chicken breast in a hot pan and fried in olive oil for 4 mins. I then added the sauce, cooked for another 2-3 mins. Put it on rice i had made in a microwave rice steamer in 12 mins. DONe! :)

Now i was expecting something pretty bland, which i would have add lots of chilli or soy sauce too, but it was spot on. Really good, fast food :)

Try it

Don't you just eat what Mum's prepared?

Only takes an extra 5 mins in the gym to work it out if it's not right (Chris Lewis (Wimbledon Finalist 1983) was the fittest on tour and was 'happy' to have the occasional Big Mac - who were one of his sponsors.).

For me, beer and red wine contain valuable minerals and anti-oxidants..... Actually, listening to your body is the best way - if it wants chocolate or a fry-up occasionally - it's probably telling you it needs one of the ingreients!

Plenty of sleep is the other essential - is that why MS3 looks 'off colour' occasionally?

I ate breakfast for the first time in months!

Then wasn't hungry until lunch when i managed to just have a sandwhich.
