We’ve just started our new season and are using an App by DotGolf (badged as My Scottish Golf App) for scoring in our competitions etc
As I under It this New Zealand software has been around for many years and is also used by the other home unions for the past few years.

We seem to be having issues with competitions and wonder if the same issues arise elsewhere?

Do the othe U.K. countries use it for competitions?

The equivalent in England is the MyEngland Golf App

This is purely used for players to track their handicap index, find out their relevant Course Handicap for the course they wish to play, and to pre-register for General Play scores. It is not used for competitions.

Competition management is still done by local ISV software such as HandicapMaster, Club Systems, Intelligent Golf etc. Players individual scores from competitions are uploaded by the ISV software to the DotGolf back end servers, where they can bee seen in the App...but the App doesn't show competition results or anything like that...only the players individual handicap record and the scores that contribute to it.
