I read that their deals are structured with 50% payment upfront and the rest split over the remainder of thir contract. Even with the split its guaranteed earning for just turning up. No brainer.
I carry clubs but cant use any of them

There was a report from the US court action that said their signing on fees were an advance on prize money they win in future.

Even so with guaranteed prize money at every event it makes economic sense to most of them

Wish that self serving, sanctimonious world class cheat (Gary Player, not his younger apprentice Patrick Reed) would shut the f*** up  :banghead:

Good looking leaderboard so far at the Liv event - can’t say the field isn’t strong

D.J. - "This LIV win felt more important to me than my Masters Win,to be honest. You know how many Green Jackets I can buy with $4 million?"

If it's true and he truly said that.....what an absolute W@NK !

He’s a utter plank irrespective if he said that daft comment or not. If he had a third brain cell he’d be dangerous

Would be a bit funny if a LIV golfer won the BMW PGA this week  :eyebrow:

What would SKY be allowed to show by the DP Tour???

Commentary and reporting are so annoying. I like Feherty but they've all clearly been told to enthuse about LIV and the format at every opportunity which is painful. Throw in the OTT graphics and irritating music booming out, it's a hard watch even if the calibre of golfers has improved.
