The Superdeep has been out for a while now would any of the `early adopters` like to comment on its performance, particularly in relationship to the SuperTri.
I would appreciate comments from those with first hand experience rather than trotting out the sales pitch.
Hard data from comparison launch monitor sessions would be especially useful.

I can post something a little more in-depth in a couple of days, but I stick by my opinions that I posted in Gareths WITB.

Very good but very unforgiving. Looks very very nice at address. Low to mid launch and low spin.

Agree with everything Rob just said here

IF it fits you/your swing it is an immense driver.....otherwise it is hard work...
I love the sand belt but it's not good for keeping up trousers in the rain...

I'll go along with Rob and Gareth but don't find the Superdeep unrealistically difficult to use. I hit a lot of balls today with the Supertri, Superdeep and my "goto" r7 Superquad TP.  In short the Supertri was a little more forgiving than the other 2, with the other 2 feeling a little more solid. The SD and SQ felt quite similar but i think the SD was a bit lower flight/spin.
I'd love some Trackman time to see and need to find a shaft but i think i'll aim for the SD to take over from the SQ but it isn't going to happen soon so the saga will continue for me.

Hi Andy,

What shafts have you tried in the SD so far? Just the RIP 70s??

Hi Andy,

There was too much lag in the RIP stiff Gareth. Saw a guy selling his RIP 70X out of his SD on the bay, funnily he was going to use the funds to but a Stiff. Did a swap with him and got it yesterday, only had time to hit half a dozen balls with it but I'm thinking i like it!
Also tried the F7M2 in it which felt good. Ozik radix 7321 X is fine but tried an old school Grafalloy Blue S and it was a failure. Still need to try the Attas 7x and a Redboard 83X i put in the Supertri and was pleasantly suprised by it.
I've not really had much time the last few weeks but need to hit more balls at the w/e if its decent. Like i said at the start, think i'm liking the RIP 70X and want to try it in the ST too. Also thinking its a good job i ordered the RIPs from the States.
