Winn Xi7 Grip Review
« on: Mar 08, 2009, 15:51:45 »
Recently reshafted my gear, so I thought I would get some new grips as well as I didn't like the Golfpride tour velvets, always thought they were a tad slippy in our wet climate. I used to use Lamkin crosslines which were fantastic in the wet but have a tendency to take your skin off too. A few months back, one of our members mentioned the Winn Xi7 grips as being real soft & comfy but afforded fantastic level of grip in the wet also, as this was the first time I have heard of Winn grips, other than the ones for putters, I decided to give them a try.

I took them out today, in freezing cold, blustery wet conditions and I could honestly say that they are the best grips I have used. They are so soft and comfy that I didn't bother using a glove, and despite the wet conditions I could grip the clubs as normal, even through the hitting zone I did not feel them slip once. The best thing was that at the end of the round, I still had skin on my fingers and hands.
