Good going Tony, pretty much the same as me, 8lbs off since New Year. Hope to be at target by around April for the season start.

Cheers Kev. Looking to get into the gym again this year, but doing some weights as well as the cardio. Found that doing cardio alone I couldn't shift any weight, but did feel great. Need to find the motivation now to do something in an evening.

Just let me know when you want to go for a run, Tony.  I have an 8-10k circuit I do or a 5k one to break you in.  :p

In the other boat trying to put on 1 stone gone from 10 stone dead to 10,4  only 8lbs to go, lots of gym time and running should be there in 2 more months or so.
Same here i weigh a mighty 10.4 stone need to get up too 11 although i cant put any weight on.
Jeez, you guys don't know how lucky you are, not able to put weight on. I just have to look at food and put weight on. I lost 13lbs before Christmas, and over the festive period put 13.5lbs back on, to be at my heaviest weight of 24st 13.5lbs two weeks ago. Since then, I've got back on the trail, been walking more, and joined the gym, and have lost 7lbs in two weeks. But for me, its soo easy to put weight on, but a real slog getting it off, I find it so bloody hard. In the past 7 years I've had three sucesses, losing 5st 7lbs, 6st 2lbs and 5st 9lbs, and each time I fall off the wagon I've put it on, and then some. Each time its got harder to lose the weight, and it drives me mad. This time is the hardest so far though. I know I can do it though, just need to get a few good weeks under my belt first though.

Col, I recall our previous PMs, keep trying.  My buddy hasn't made any ground, if anything he's got worse probably at over 30st now for some time. It's a big psychological thing at that level (not the simple overeating & 10 kilos I'm complaining about) don't let it get the better of you.

Trying (mainly in vain  ) to get down to the 11st 4lbs that I was in early Sept.  This was however, after being ill over the Summer time and losing 2st in 2wks not being able to eat.  Unfortunatley, since the Summer the bliss of just being able to eat has put me back to the 12st mark.

With a long term change in career on the horizon a weight loss is also going to be a good idea.  I have started to go back to Slimming World classes, I have been doing it on and off for the last 6 years with varying success.  Also there is a gym at work, less that 50 paces from my desk.  I have started to use it on a regular basis at least once a week during lunch times and trying to make it twice, extended the dog walking too.  So fingers crossed I can push towards my intermediate target of 11st 7lbs, and he little treat of a GoKart I promised myself 12mths ago when I started to try and lose weight again.

topped out at 186lbs a couple of weeks back so time to get some weight off

5-6 pints of water a day, no going to canteen for snacks, ignoring the 'its my birthday, free cakes at my desk' emails and healthy eating at home

no golf for 6 weeks hasnt helped, currently taken 5 pounds of that towards my target of 170lbs

Still trying big time TP. Another 2lbs off this week. Had a Docs appointment the other day and got a bollocking from him. Basically told I was a walking timebomb for a heart attack, and if I didnt shape up soon, that I wouldn't be around to see any kids I might have after I get married, grow up. Kinda puts things in perspective I guess.

Yeah, public humiliation for (lack of) weight loss. I'm up for that as I've been told unless I do I'll need to stop playing golf or get a knee replacement.

This mornings weight 14st 7lbs.
Target: 12st 10lbs I'm told this should be my "first" target
