I'm starting to see a pattern here: Another 400g. Even after all the bacon and sausages and chocolate cake :)

78.8Kg.

Gym is killing me, 8pm Friday night doesn't seem to be the best time to work out after all but I'll try Ecclesrec's routine.

Forgot to add to the routine - you do the exercises at your own risk! They are there for guidance.

Consult your doctor before you try any exercise.

Which exercise are you going to do?

Before you jump into this I would advise that you contact your gym and organise an induction/meeting with an instructor for your first outing with this routine. This should cost you nowt and the instructor will advise you on propper form and additional exercises that may benefit you personally.

I'm confident based on my previous five or six years experience going to the gym every week that I can handle myself, but thanks for your concern.  I started again three or four weeks back, just running, cycling and swimming, and I know how to take it easy with weights.  Too easy.  Much like my golf swing, I listen to the slow/consistent advice too much and don't work as hard as I could do.  I had a trainer for six weeks a ways back and he had me on double the weight I thought was my maximum within two weeks.

3 times a week?

No chance. Once at best.  I'm more interested in Cardio, really, but I like weights and I appreciate a routine to follow.  I get a chance to swim on Sundays, so this is either my Friday or Saturday night if I can keep my eyes open.

I have started a new workout for 2 days of the 5. I was squatting with an Olympic bar (25kg) with 15kg on each side - 3 sets of 6/8 then went to another exercise and then to lunges with the Olympic bar with 10kg on each side - nearly lost the will to live and that was only the 4th exercise into the routine!

Well, at least I learnt that if you go out on the lash 4 nights running, including two all dayers Saturday and Sunday, (one wedding and one baptism) you're not going to loose weight. Pity.

I'm having real trouble walking at the moment!  :lol:

@Yanner

The sad thing I found was that when I stopped the tri-weekly Leo Sayers, I still didn't lose any weight.
